Young Mountaineer from Brazil, Harry Coumnas Has His Eyes Set On Mount Everest!
Harry Coumnas is a twenty-two years old Mountaineer from Brazil whose major accomplishments include - climbing Mount Vinson in Antarctica; Aconcagua in Argentina; Puncak Jaya (also known as Carstensz Pyramid) in Indonesia; and many other challenging peaks around the world. Coumnas loved adventure since childhood and wanted to do something which would make his parents proud. He started learning mountaineering at the age of eleven, and in no time, mastered the tricks required for a successful summit of any mountain.
After climbing several challenging peaks in the past couple of years, Harry Coumnas has now his eyes set on Mount Everest, which is the ultimate climbing challenge for any climber. Soaring in the height of 29, 035; Mount Everest is the tallest peak in the world. Although Harry knows that it is the longest and the most difficult climb, he is prepared for the challenges. During an interview with a popular radio channel, he said that he has always dreamt of reaching the summit of Mount Everest and now that he thinks he is physically as well as mentally fit enough to take on this challenge; he wants to give it his best shot.
In the future, Harry Coumnas would like to climb the highest peaks on each of the 7 continents, often referred to as the 7 Summits. He says that it is hard work, dedication, and faith in his abilities that give him the confidence to attempt expeditions that seem challenging to most people. Apart from this, he also ensures to exercise regularly and eat a healthy, well-balanced diet. Other than prepping for his expeditions, it is his charitable endeavors that keep him occupied. He also gives motivation lectures in mountaineering schools across the country.
